Zelma Reservoir

How are the conditions on Zelma? Ie ice thickness, the bite, hotspots.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

I was out yesterday to check it out as I hadn’t been out there in many years.  No one else was out when I arrived so I walked out.  There appeared to be about a foot of ice - I didn’t do an official measurement.

Later in the day people were driving on from the launch on the west side.   There was also a number of people fishing by the pump house on the east side, but I didn’t notice any vehicles on the ice over there.

Fishing was slow for me.

Thanks ShawnR,
I haven’t been there for years also, so wanted to check before making the trek. Hopefully the fish show for prime time!  Moon phase is almost right.

Any recent updates on this little body of water? Ice must be drivable by now?

Planning on going after some perch here tomorrow if anyone has any beneficial advice or tips.
