I have two ways that I fish.

The cluster method:

Stick them anywhere and everywhere to see where fish strike first.  Then I make adjustments.

In line method:

Start from shore and place them 10-15 yards apart in a straight line.

When fishing with others we will use both methods.

These work especially well when one does not have a fish finder.
