Thanks Swen....   I have caught many Muskie in soft water but this is the first Muskie I have taken through the ice.  It was quite unexpected and quite a thrill ! ! ! !

I only do catch and release. Takes them a long time to get big. If you catch one get a length and girth measurement and have a replica done, never has to be touched up and the fish keeps growing with someone else to have a chance at him.

Well, I'll toss this one on here....

This is the pike I reeled in during the speed fishing tourney I posted about previously.  Only pic I have with a measurement doesn't show the entire fish, though.  We called it to be 26-7/8"....

Not a pike but does this count?  Caught yesterday (2/3) on Gun Lake in Yankee Springs.  Measured 41” but no pic with the tape measure.  Wanted to get him back in the water....

thanks I have alot of respect for big pike,I keep a few 24-28" fish a yr to eat some during soft water also.
I let everything above 30" live another day and keep growing.
My biggest was 38" also released.hoping for a 40" then I have to decide replica or not.
