Grand Lake Near Minto

Was  out today on  Grand  Lake   no fish  but 16 inches of  good  black  ice  . Not  sure what its  like  down around  goat island  but  think   must  be  10  or so inches down that way

Just wanna fish:
Went out yesterday to the lower end of grand lake by Douglas harbour and only caught one 16" chain. But it was enough to get the fever started. Lol. I've never ice fished around here so it's all a learning experience.

It was about 12-18 inches where I was drilling. There was only about 5-6 foot of water though.
