Good evening  may all of the mothers here on Ice Shanty days have been pleasant and some time spent with family. Rain to start the day here with greyish clouds all day.
Hunts2long may your wife have enjoyed her girls Mothers day plans. Glad your ankle is doing better agree with others about seeing your doctor. sadly you may have to totally eliminate certain foods to prevent future  problems with Gout.
Ice Wanderer agree about the police taking a report on the dog bite my sister has talked to neighbors about the incident so they know to be cautious when walking in that location . Her neighbor across street has an adult daughter who is a pet sitter/dog walker so they were very thankful for the information. going by what the dog owner told my siter the electric fence was on at time of the bite.  sister said the dog was barking moved towards her stopped a couple of times . It was when she turned her attention away from the dog and decide to keep walking that it came after her. may you see some dry weather so you can stain the dock you pressure washed. Heading into a bust time period for your neighbor, his BIL and you as homeowners assoc. members want certain things done before Memorial Day weekend.
Wallyworld you are welcome as the 9:45's Official Mom" it is the least we can do for you. May the flowers last you for a week or more nice gift from your son and his family. How are your grandchildren doing with any Springtime sports. i'm not sure what time of year the college crew teams compete (Spring/Fall) .May your grandson's lacrosse team be doing well and he be getting playing time each game.
Eddie may the cemetery visit have been a good one for you.  May Mrs. Mason have enjoyed whatever the family had planed for today.
OldSailor may you not need to purchase a hovercraft lawnmower or flock of sheep to maintain your lawn this growing season. May Mrs.Sailor's Mothers May have been a good one.
IFF i hope prices at the farmers market were comparable to the grocery stores or lower. glad you found some items to purchase. may you have freed the one chainsaw and have the fallen tree cut up for Linda's sister.
Drifter a "little smoky " is an under statement. thank you for the photo. best wished for you and others especially the crews fighting the fires.
Fish/hunt4ever if you spent part of today at the lake may the fish have been biting and a few made it into your boat and home for future meals. May your wife and MIL have enjoy today and whatever was planed to honor them. i she posted while i was typing hopefully you can prepare your wife a better dinner later this week.

Keep safe, stay healthy. best to all fishing this week.
  Steve

Well hope all had a great mother's day. Took the wife out to the lake and we only caught one walleye today at the little lake. It was a beautiful day on the lake and also got yhe desk the wife wanted put together for her before we went out. Waiting on some dinner, corn dogs, the wife is not happy about that but it is all we had for a quick dinner before bed.

Good morning ER’s. Happy Mother’s Day.  Farmers market shopping was good, picked up some tomato starter plants and some home canned pickles, got there just before the vendor’s packed up to leave at noon.  Then went to Linda’s sisters place to cut up a fallen tree, that turns out to be a cedar tree, and a lot bigger than I thought it would be, guessing the height to be about 50 when it was standing. And might know got my saw bar stuck.  Chain was still moving, but didn’t have a wedge with, to get it out of the bind. Will be going back today armed with a wedge and my bigger saw to try and finish up.

Hope everyone enjoys your day
