Older nils adapter
« on: Sep 29, 2020, 03:26 PM »
Anybuddy out there converted the Old Style Nils with the 3 inch wide head tube to a drill adapter?
I know the shaft tube is 7/8 ID and wondering if drilling thru the center of the top cross tube and into the mail and useing a thru bolt on a HT 1/2 inch adapter shaft will work.

Thanks, @)

Jack are you talking about the original Tanaka hand auger with the T top , long before the change to nills
I found a bent one , a machinist straightened it , cut the T off and added a drill adapter for me
