I would like to buy a dinner bell but not until I can get it from someone else.
Frostbite threads are so predictable.
Site just opened up now for those who were waiting.Limited stock on some items.
I noticed that there was a posting for dinnerbell 2.0 when the site was closed. Does anyone know what these look like? Trying to decide if I want to wait or just buy dinnerbell 1.0.
I was really hoping they'd have some small ones in stock that I can use for finicky trout, but they don't have any right now.
I reached out and this was the response I received on the micro "we’ll be looking at bringing in micros I believe in November! Thanks for reaching out!"
Got my order today! Remember guys, 2 is 1 and 1 is none, so, buy 3. The Tantrums were just the "might as well" addon; what I really wanted were the Dinner Bells. Looking forward to hunting down some big trout and pike with these puppies. I've got a lot of hooks and split rings to swap out though...
I had ordered a couple dinnerbells last year and couple more last week that arrived in the mail today. I can't see any noticeable differences. Even the packaging is the same...unless I received last years stock
Last year’s stock. 2.0 won’t be available until December.
Did they tell you this? The placeholder page they had on their site specifically said something like "all items in stock October 2020 + Dinner Bell 2.0!".I'm wondering what they could have changed, honestly.
I got a response from them on Facebook messenger. My guess it lines up with the St Paul show that’s happening in early December. My guess is newer colours or stronger hooks.
Are there issues with the hooks? I saw someone else say they would be replacing the hooks? I just put a decent order in
The St Paul Ice Show isn't happening this year unfortunately. Interested to see what 2.0 could have. I'll be putting some Owner Hyper Wire split rings and Gamakatsu trebles on them and they should be good to go. I don't know if the stock hooks/split rings are bad, but I like to replace hardware on most baits I buy unless the stock stuff is great.
