Keeping waxies

Just thought I'd pick your brains on how to keep waxies alive long term.

refrigerator.... I have a minifridge I use for my bait so its not in the main fridge

I keep mine in my basement storage room.  They last months.  Spikes I put in the fridge.  Waxes are suppose to be around 45 degrees

Outstanding!!!!! I kind of figured the fridge but thought maybe there was something else I was missing. I've been keeping mine by the front door on a shelf. They seem to keep longest right in that spot. She hates it I know but she hasn't said anything yet

I agree with Spikes. Wax worms on the bench in the garage and spikes in the fridge. Both will last all season this way. Just don't put the ones you took fishing back into your main bait storage.

45 to 50 for waxies and 34 for beer and spikes
