replacing hooks on #3 chubby darter ?

have any of you replaced the hooks on the #3 salmo chubby darter with a larger hook ? i do not know what size come on them but it seems fish are being lost , if anyone has suggestions i would like to hear them !

If I remember right, I had to change out the old rusty ones for #12 sized trebles.
