What areas should I look for to find big crappies? Do you think that large fish school together?

I say submerged brush piles I always have luck around them summer winter spring and fall.  I think they tend to be together big and small

I usually find they run in schools of like size. If you're catching 10 inch fish, most likely you won't find a 15 in with em. If you do find big fish, seems you catch a lot of em. Please be careful with catch and release, especially with the bigger fish.
