When you put your stuff away, soak some cotton balls in 100% pure peppermint oil. (Not extract). It repels mice and your sled will smell like Christmas. It does work. You can get the pure peppermint oil on Amazon.
Thank you Lord for thinkin bout me. I'm alive and doin fine!!!!!!

I've always used dryer sheets in everything I have stored. sleds, shantys, 5th wheel trailer, and the dryer sheets have always worked, just forgot to put any in last year.

I have used iron on knee patches.     from walmarts or any sewing store

to patch fishtrap holes
I was going to use iron on patches but couldn't find any that matched the color of the clam. Then the patch kit wasn't an exact match either. but it worked.

Glad to hear about the progress!  Not too many smells linger like mouse piss!
I have a pole barn at my house that usually gets a fair share of mice in the winter, so I thought I would get some cats to take care of them. BIG MISTAKE. Cat piss is about the same as mouse piss as far as smell goes, and the cats piss on everything. took about 3 years before the smell was gone from the barn.
