LOL, You guys are the best!  I’m so humbled.  I’m sorry I’ve been away.  When Scott moved his servers to the cloud, I   could no longer access the site via my work desktop PC.  I’ve really missed everyone.  I hope everyone is well and has avoided the Covid bug.  I belong to several forums from Big Green Egg to BMW, but Ice Shanty will always be my home.  I hope to contribute more this year especially in the late winter sales season.

I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  God knows we need it!

I haven't done any research into which drills are good for running augers, but I see you guys talking about it all the time.  Home Depot is doing a flash sale for the next 14 hours on a bunch of their power tool kits, so I figure someone might benefit from it for ice fishing.  And even if someone doesn't want one of these for hardwater, they might just want one!

The new buddy flex heater looks pretty neat but the price is ridiculous IMO.  The additional add-ons like the cooking element are a nice touch but they need to drop the price before I invest in one.

Mr Heater screwed us on this one. They couldn’t get fans from China so they just removed them,My box said it had a fan even but still no fan. In my book they owe me a fan, cheap bast...s.

They always were overpriced IMO. Ya, I love both of mine, many years on 'em. I paid $50 for each. One is so old it doesn't even have the tip-over safety switch. I use that one most, 'cuz I can move it around from place to place without it going out, usually in the garage. About ten years ago, Lowes had a half pallet of 'em for $38, Spring clearance!  That should tell ya what the mark-up is on 'em. (regular Buddy heater)
I wasn't a hog, I only bought 4 of 'em.
