Sierra Trading Post has Korkers Snowjack boots for $69 ( reg. $189) with free shipping if you sign up for email. I have these boots and like them.  Several reviews of them on here if you search.

https://www.sierratradingpost.com/korkers-snowjack-snow-boots-waterproof-insulated-for-men~p~236fu/?filterString=s~korkers-outsole%2F

Ordered a backup pair, thanks!  Carbide studded soles alone are about $40 and they are included.

Those Korkers are normally $90, not $180.  Sounds like a good deal, but not that good!

Bless you lynng!  I was getting bored out of my skull reading all of the whining and back tracking being done over the Overton’s baloney!

Listen everyone.  Y’all know that this guy loves a great deal more than anyone, but I avoided the Overton’s deal like the plague.  If I can pass one worthy bit of advice on to all of you, it would be this;  If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.  One last thought... If Overton’s had erred and actually allowed multiple orders for essentially free products, would you have felt ok taking advantage of them for the error?  Those of you that just nodded yes need to look in the mirror.

DN

I don’t see a problem with it if they don’t say ANYWHERE that it’s only good for one order.  Don’t call my character into question for attempting to purchase during a sale when the vendor makes it out to be a screaming deal, knows what they’re doing, and never once mentions that it’s only good for one order.

Like I said, I know I’m getting a deal, I just wish they would have said that from the beginning so A) I wouldn’t have wasted so much time and B) I could have gotten something I needed rather than shotgunning a bunch of orders out there.

They sell for 189. FishUSA are selling the same boots for 189. Wicked deal on a wicked boot.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, or not.  FishUSA has all of their clearance stuff marked down another 30% and they have 20% off of gloves.

400g thinsulate insulation. if all you need is 400g, you don't need the studs. I use minimum 1000g for my ice fishing needs

Why would I not need studs?

Another Good deal on a shanty from sheels not a bad price to keep some one warm.. it's smaller then a eskimo 3i or a frabill...  but I think they built this shanty around the regular buddy heater...  so you don't got to go over kill on heating costs.. by the way these are 75 inches tall not 80 inches  I can barely stand in middle of it so keep it in mind.. but for 199.99 it light warm and saves money on running the propane in this cold weather we have..

Just picked up another Rdigid Gen 5x Brushless drill used for $50. My new one went into the box and will possibly be never used. The guy also had 2 Brand New Gen 4x Brushed Drills 650 In Pound for $50 each. I picked the best one.

Lefty I haven't heard very good reviews about the Rdigid Brushless drills, say they burn out pretty quick

Just scored a Big Buddy for $104.99 at Menards, should be nice considering the sub zero temps we've been having in Wisconsin.

Time will tell. I am going to use the used one and hope for the best. If it burns out soon I will return the new one and get something else. But it doesn't get hot and doesn't struggle while cutting.

Anyone know why brushless is important for an ice drill setup?

In a tool with a brushless motor, the motor adjusts according to the task. The more resistance a drill or saw senses, the more power it draws, and conversely a lack of resistance lessens the pull. This is a huge advancement when it comes managing battery life, which ups runtime and increases the performance of cordless power tools. A standard brushed motor will always max out on whatever speed it's set at.
