MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
Wow! $249 for that!??? I'm sure its a fine product but.... my wallet has a hole in it just thinking about it....
I was thinking of getting this for my Vexilar FL28. Will it fit?
IDO forum had some discussion on the shuttle.https://www.in-depthoutdoors.com/community/forums/topic/marcum-m5-lithium-shuttle-combo-unveiled-at-icast/
Yes, they offer an adapter cable for other electronics, $30 i believe.
I thought I enjoyed ice fishing but if people are fishing for 40 hours straight then I need to step it up! I have yet to drain through a full battery after fishing sun-up to sun-down. This will be my 4th winter with it so I might need to replace the battery (for $25) this year. Is a lithium ion battery really necessary or is it just about having the "best of the best". I could buy 10 batteries for that price which would last me 30+ years...The dual USB ports would be nice though, I suppose this set-up could replace a battery box inside a portable.
mine showed up today. i did take un-boxing photos i can put some up later.here's what i can share. *the bucket is in a sealed 5 gal you have to open it like a new bucket of paint. at least you know it's not used or would think that as hard as it is to open.*the front light is on a momentary switch and does not offer full time fishing light like i thought it would be. i will keep my COB LED lighting intact.*the base has screw in inserts on both side to hold some thing, but not sure yet what they are for.
Turns out the light switch is a stay on type and not a momentary. The ducer arm is bolted on so tight that it was pushing on the bottom of the switchthe bucket is a standared 5 gal size. 12 x 14.5 inches. After getting it put toghether i found ir leans hard forward when you lift it.Ir is still heavy with out the camera and a few pounds lighter than the stock shuttle.Adding the camera bag will help with the balance like does with the stock shuttle. The lx9 will nor fit the bucket with head leaning at the stock angle. You have to loosen the side svrews on the head so it points straight up and then it,s a tight fit,but fits.
I have two lithium lifepo4 batteries wired in parallel. Which holds voltage to same as one battery but doubles the AH. In my case @ 48 AH and it only weighs about 5 lb. Overkill probably but I rather have way too much than run out. Expensive but cheaper than this shuttle.Running a 9 in Garmin ECHOMAP 92sv with panoptix. Plus any lighting I care to use. Got everything bundled in an old milk crate with unit on top.
Agree with you. I would rather have a carryable soft case than a bucket. Don't understand why they did not provide both.
