I will let you know tomorrow when I open up my package from Sports mans Guide.
I have it in my trunk and will get it out in the morning. I got the 8 Rod/Reel bag. I think it is going to be good but will know for sure in the morning.

Opened up my Bag this morning. I really like the Rod case. It has 1 really long zippered pocket and 2 smaller zippered pockets and then the rod pockets hold 4 rods each . I do have to fold down my handles on some of the reels so it fits better. Very nice heavy duty straps to carry it with with good clips and d-rings.
I already have 6 rods in it. I will put my favorite jig boxes in it as well.

So do the rods just lay loose in the pockets or is there something to hold them down?  I just ordered one of these from Reeds on Fri.

There isn't anything to hold them down but plenty of cushion to hold them in tight. I think you will like it,but everyone is different.

No they just lay in there. I guess someone could use some Velcro some how.

Thanks.  Guess I'll just have to wait till it gets here and see if I like it.

Got it yesterday and like it so far.  Only observation is that although you can cram 4 rods in per side a person would be better off using it as a 6 rod bag with 3 per side.

6 is what I bought it for and mine fit pretty well. I put 3 boxes of Jigs and lures in the long pocket and then the smaller pocket I have some other Jigs in the Custom Jigs and Spins cases. In the medium size pocket I put in 2 pairs of Needle nose,a 2 small BB cans with swivels and Fastash Clips,2 rags,a plastic bag and a few clip on bells. This is everything I will need in the hut to get started out. Other then some baits and the rest of my jigs I will be set.
