Laurel Hill State Park

Has anyone fished Laurel hill state park yet looking to get out this weekend on a limited time schedule and this is my closet option that might be safe thanks

Saw one random report on PA ice conditions group on FB that someone found 4”+ every hole they drilled there yesterday. It’s one of the first around SW to get ice early. Guy coming from High Point gave this report. I’ve personally gone there early season and found safe ice whenever most places were just approaching 4”. Just bc of the elevation there. If you go, give us a report.

Ahh that sucks. I know the feeling. They’re forecasting 6-10” snow up there which ain’t great for ice formation.

DCNR website says 3" as of 20th. I imagine they are conservative. Hoping to finally head up tomorrow.
