Title: Smelt near Great Falls

Does anyone know where to get some smelt near Great Falls? Roberts hasn't had any for a while, he said the guy he gets them from can't get into his traps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :tipup:

have you tried the grocery stores they should have them. I hear people eat em thats why there at the store

Sorry, I had smelt on the mind I guess. I meant suckers.

no lenard didn't have any because we baught the last 5 dozen but he had to search around in his minnow tank it pays to know him gave him a tip though. I have no idea where to get suckers

yeah I know him fairly well, he had some smaller ones. I'm looking for ones between 6-8" or so. Even now when I go up there to get minnows there are a few suckers thrown in there. I do agree if you know him well, you tend to get exactly what you want and then some.

There's plenty of suckers around... oh, you mean sucker minnows.  Sorry ::)
