Hey guys I am new to the forum. Got out a few times last week and figured I would post a pic. Then I can keep tabs on the reports and conditions

Spent three nights at Crooked Creek this last weekend 6th-9th. Great weather, good people and a few nice northerns. Hats off to James at the marina, top notch guy who will help out any way he can. Cant wait to go back! All northerns were on dead bait and the majority hit blue fire brined smelt.

Anyway, finally made it home to fish my folks, wasnt very productive, but we each caught a decent fish! and a few other smaller 1. Dad's 10# NP, 2. Mom's 5.25 RB, 3. My 10#NP

a meal of trout nuggets, potato pankaes, applesauce, slaw, and homemade tartar,... throw is some French bread and you have yourself a real nice "struggle plate"

Got the wife her very first pike this weekend. Didn't take pics because it was too dark, but we ended up getting 5 ling to top off an already awesome weekend.

The two biggest fish I've seen caught back to back on ice.

I’ve never seen a fish fight so hard through the ice. The battle lasted 15 nerve-racking minutes and ended with an intense showdown at the hole including a lost rod and failed tail grab attempt by yours truly. Needless to say there was a lot of screaming, yelling and high fives when we finally got her topside. The best part? It’s all on video! Oh and 30 minutes later he landed the fish pictured below in the same spot...

Here is the second giant lake trout that that my buddy caught last weekend. He lost his lake trout rod down the hole after the first one so he was stuck using his walleye rod which is much smaller/lighter. I can't believe how lucky he got! Probably should buy a lottery ticket...

got out for half day last weekend, that's all the slush we could handle.

this weekend we found some good ice no slush easy tug around with all the gear. the pink pole has been on fire!!
