Walked on water today!!!

I walked on the channel on Lake Eliza today!!! 2" of ice, couldn't get the boat out to hit the crappie spot, not enough ice to fish it. Checked Loomis on the west end, about an inch. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be on somewhere!! I don't think I've ever ice-fished Thanksgiving weekend here in Indiana. It better not SNOW this week!! We're really close gentleman, I can't wait!! Keep your fingers crossed. It is suppose 2 snow the next couple of days and warm up-might be on hold a while longer. Think I have 2 get all my gear ready this week.

I was on the ice today,not sure how thick it was. I'm about 185lbs. and it didn't crack when I jumped up and down.Were close!

I've was on the ice and fishing Nov. 23rd 2008 and don't plan on stopping tell spring breakup 2009 !!!!

My lake locked up Sat. morn.  Stay away snow and rain.  And I need the sun to stay behind the clouds!!!!!!  It is almost here!!!!!!

That's great to hear Rob.  I've seen several of the smaller lakes locked up for a week now.  Can't wait to get out there for the early crappies. I'm on straight days this year!  Don't forget to give me a call. ;D
