on the puddles till about 8:30am :' ( Well it was a skim of ice)

Hey Guys and Dolls! I live near a backwater slough of the mighty WI River here in central WI. Across the road from the slough is a swamp. This morning I noticed that there was a skim OF ICE over the entire swamp. The ice season will be here soon. I wonder if we'll be out there in Nov. again? So, make some jerky, sharpen those augers, spool those reels, and pull that shack out of the rafters.........IT'S GETTING CLOSE!!! :o

I had 26 deg. this morning when i left for work,  however it was 56 when i returned
