Just finished putting the new FishTrap Scout together, then had to load the gear in it to see how everything would fit.

Put the finishing touches on it by adding one of my Ice Shanty stickers

If I'm lucky, I will only have to walk around it for a couple of months before using it. >:(

Looks like your all ready! I got my scout out so i can make some changes to it, going to center out the seat. Also put in some dividers,to keep stuff from sliding around.

After she saw it all put together (and sat in it) last night, I may never get to fish out of it!! It has much more room than I imagined. I have a feeling we will end up with a 2 person scout next season. The Frabill Outback is nice, but those Clams look real nice.

There is actually plenty of room in that little shelter. It can get warm in there too. The picture below was taken on the day of the "blizzard" two years back. The wind was blowing like crazy outside and I was pretty much burried in when I opened it up, but I was warm with condensation dripping from the top just from the tiny mini lantern.
The shelters are great if you are on top of a lot of active fish, otherwise not worth the hassle if you are a hole hopper.

On certain days you will love it. And on other days you won't need it. I like my FT pro but would rather fish without it, weather permitting.

I stumbled across this little jewel today. Picked it up for $100. Just needs a battery charger. Now my wife won't have to hear me whine about her using the FL20 all winter!

Your sled looks like mine. Packed to the gills. I love mine and the girl friend hates the cold. I have had mine for 3 yrs and use it even just to haul my stuff.

Looks like a nice rig Jeff, only bad deal I had with my Fish trap is that it's hard to pull in deep snow. I made a rack with some ski's to get it 12" off the ground. It makes pulling a lot easier. Mark

The new red Alaskan looks like a nice shanty the 4-man is a bit salty at 899.99. Ah, what the heck you get what you pay for. And remember: he who has the most toys at the end is the WINNER. GOOD LUCK 2 ALL.
