Bluegills when ice is gone

Now that a lot of ice is gone will the Bluegills continue to bite in the same areas. I am new to spring fishing and I am thinking about taking the boat out this weekend.

Where do you live?
I dont think the ice will be all gone for atleast 10 more days. Willow slough may be ready sooner. good luck.
