I’m thinking of trying to get out tomorrow morning (2/6). Which lake do you guys think would be the safest? I have a float suit, but I REALLY don’t want to see if it works. I’d also prefer to go where there are a few people fishing just to feel more comfortable. RuttNutt, you’re pretty knowledgeable, what do you say? Edit: I’m out of bait so probably will stop at JC’s, which would make Toby much more convenient.

From what I’ve herd p/l had 6” at snow shanty 4” at pickerel point and Toby had 5” at the ramp snow shanty has the most ice but I never done to good there. The ice is cloudy gone down to18 tonight stay safe if you go.A/P

I just saw on the WNEP 16 weather tonight that Tobyhanna might be in the teens tonight. So I’m leaning that way right now.

I think either one would be OK but if you’re going to JC’s for bait you might as well hit Tobyhanna.

Was out on Brady's lake and Tobyhanna in January but haven't checked if the ice came back yet.
