Amen to that. I've never fallen through and hope I dont either. I do go out at first ice and have my ice spikes in hand. This year I think I'll wear a life jacket as well. with my boots untied. ;)

if i had to do all that i think i would pass going on the ice........i don't want to ice fish that bad.....however, better safe then sorry......good luck this year

thanks for the refresher...i think sometimes we sacrifice our personal safety in order to get out a bit further to that sweet spot. being prepared benefits everyone
