I think there was 29 guys and I think there was only 13 who posted any fish caught. It was from 1pm to 630pm, $20/man, could weigh in 20 fish max, mixed bag of gill,redear,crappie,perch, or warmouth. I only managed 3 dink gills, lost something nice 10 min before quiting time. Broke my 3lb test line. Never seen it, I would say either bass or big crappie.
If my memory is right. Winner had 2.1 lbs on 8fish(paid $200), 2nd 1.7 lb, and 3rd 1.5 lb. So it didn't take allot to get into the $$, I think most any 1 guy caught was 11 fish. Also Paid $29 for big fish in each of the 5 catagorys.
It was windy, as we all know. But I had a good time, marked allot of fish, no biters until about 530. Malones furnished free hotdogs w/BBq & cheese sauce. Would like to see him have another one this year, but I doubt he does.
