Clam Bigfoot XL4000T
« on: Oct 04, 2012, 08:39 PM »
Anybody seen one of these yet? I was set on buying a Fatfish 949i but after seeing the XL4000T I may being buying one of those instead. Any input would be a big help.
 Thanks

More room, beefed up poles/hubs/fabric, more head room in the corners, and all that for $20 more than the 949i.  Seems like a no brainer to me.

Thorne Bros has the 949i for $340 and the 4000T for $320; so I guess $20 less than.  Regardless, it appears that you're getting much more for a lesser price with the Clam than you are with the Eskimo.

The 949i's fabric is only 300 denier, the 4000T is 600 denier.  That's a big difference!

T Bros has the best price on a 949i at $340. I have been finding $349.95. I pretty sure im going with the clam. frist year products im always alittle hesitaint on. it didnt go so well for eskimo with the fatfish.
