Wanting to see if anyone has checked on seminoes ice condition yet. Curious if the bays have started to freeze over. Thanks in advance.

How’s the fishin? I see what’s labeled as an “open road” on onx to access the platte arm from the hannah side. Can anyone confirm or deny that road can be used by the public?

Only way you can get to the platte arm is by water. There is no legal access by land that I know of. I could be wrong.
The lake is iced over. I’d use caution on the main lake but the coves are good to go.

I figured that. The “open road” is shown as part of the Hunter management area. I assume if you’re not hunting, the road isn’t open. It was worth a shot. Amazing how difficult access is on those north platte reservoirs!

I've hunted there and I'm pretty sure its a hunting access. That being said I have seem people parked down there fishing from the boat. It's been a few years and I don't remember what the signs say when you drive in there from Hanna.

Fishing was slow.  Water is low, only the river channel at the bow arm ramp.  About 6' of water on down the lake where we fished.

Couple coworkers have been landing bows and walleye on the west side, south of the boat club. Not sure where, other than in that arm to the south. Last I heard they said it was 6-8” of ice.
I wanna gonna go check it out either Monday or Tuesday.
