The following is an example of the minimum information you should provide, you can copy the example and edit it to suit your needs. If you want to add information a little more is generally better than less. Do your best to make it informative to interested fishermen, you will get a better turnout.

Lake Waramaug State Park
Registration opens at 6am
Two dozen minnows FREE with each registration (bring your bait bucket)
Fishing hours:  7am - 1pm (no one on ice till 7am signal)
Pre-registration $25, Day of event registration $30 ($10 youth (under 17))
Percent of entry fees awarded for heaviest fish, first place=25%; second=15%; third=10%  (tie’s split the prize)
All fish must be alive at check-in by 1pm
