Title: trout magnet on tungsten jig ?

I recently put a white trout magnet body on 6 mm tungsten jig and the brook trout would dart at the jig but not take it , have any of you tried this combination with any success ? i think the trout were trying to make the jig flee . any thoughts ?

Try something different, I have been having good luck this year on size 12 bead head micro leeches, but you could try copper john or other bead head flies but keep them small. Not having much luck at all this year on any spoons, forage minnows, demons, nothing metal working good for me this year.
