Captured this underwater video a couple weeks ago. Neat to see how the bluegills are rather fearless of the pike.

Great video Iceshanty.... ;D
-
awsome video, just gave me the incentive to do some open water fishing this morning as there is to much snow to get to our hardwater here in northern california, thanks! Dan
-
That's perty sweet. Looked like a nice pike and a couple of nice gills
-
Very nice....If that was me up above fishing you would have seen my gill jig fly up out of the water as soon as that Pike came on the screen, to be replaced by a nice Pike rigged jig...I always keep one ready for surprise vistitors like that
Question: What did you use to record that?
-
Awesome video. I really liked the music too, who is it?
-
yes, very cool video. those pike look cool underwater like that.
I bet the cam, helps a lot, yet another toy to add to the list. ;)2

COOL VIDEO IceShanty!! Great job...
-
i would of tried getting that pike to bite the jig pole and that would of been a fight and a half

Gamefish are closed here guys. I tend to pull the jig out if they look like they want to bite it, ;D I easily lost 100 jigs to pike bass and weeds this season! 2lb test in the heavy cover you just don't have the odds in your favor for landing them. If you don't get the head in the hole on the hookset you're out of luck. :D
I used a aquavu scout and an old jvc 8mm camcorder to record. Found that it's really much better watching later at home on a larger screen you can really see the fishes body english much better than the tiny screen the aquavu comes with. It's a neat toy I really despise fishing with it but its an awesome learning tool, recording is fun and using it for identifying fish is very very useful. The music is from some one man band pc home recording ::)

yours is right up there with northend pro.
I wonder what the other fish must think when the biter gets yarded up the hole.
one interesting thing that i observed was that fact that the fishes gill plate never moves much at all.

Another great Vid Scott. Its always fun to watch the fishes reactions to your lures :)
-
Great video!
-
Great video you can learn a lot about fish and there reactions.
-
Awesome Production    Great choice of theme music
-
awesome video  I used my scout for the first time a few weeks ago, and I'm getting ready to order the dvr for it
-
Watched it again. Awesome job...My tongue is hanging out waiting for ice. Gonna be mid fifties AGAIN today and tomorrow and Saturday. 10 day is deeply depressing also...
-
;D ;D Thats an awsome vide Ice Shanty......it's cool to see the way a fish preps for an attack on bait and the way he approaches it and maybe some video of that over and over would help improve anyone's presentation skills for any kind of lure fishing...hard or open water.

is this on youtube? it should be
-
That was a great video, its pretty cool watching the fish react to your jigs.

Great job on the video! I need to put some things on video myself. It's crazy how the fish can look @ your bait all day sometimes and never hit, no matter what you do. I use Aqua-Vu and you? Do they have a site where you can download cheesy music for your fishing vids? I believe that is industry standard.

Very nice-thanks for giving us the view from below

Awesome Vid, the Gill's must sence that those Pike were acting docile, otherwise there wouldn't have been any gills checking out your bait.
