My uncle was telling me he was catching some on Lake Du Bay a few weekends ago. I am going out with him on Sunday I will let you know what we come up with.

Best days are warm days with a little melt water coming in.  First deep hole upstream of the river in a resevoir is a good bet, as well as the base of dropoffs.  Most cats aren't usually terribly active in the winter, I've had my best luck with small jigs and waxies, although on warmer days I've caught them on a jigging spoon as well.
