I have a helix 12 linked with an ultera trolling motor and I only get clear down vision when I’m moving ? I am wanting to pull trigger on ice unit but want to figure this out first as I don’t want fuzzy down vision. Am I doing something wrong? It works great when I’m moving, soon as I’m still it’s fuzzy bottom? Hopefully someone can explain this. Thanks

both side and down image give a much clearer picture when moving. that is the way they are designed. you will not get a 100% clear picture on down imaging through the ice

So for ice fishing your using it in flasher mode ?

You can use the 2D sonar or the flasher down in the genes does not work with the ice transducer.
