How many vexilars close together?

I'm thinking of replacing my humminbird with a vexilar. Both of my son's already have a vexilar and I'm worried about interference. I know you can get rid of it by using the IR on one unit if you have two of them close together but what about three? I bought a larger shack to fish with both my boys and hope to keep it that way, hopefully they will still want to fish with Dad when they are older!

We fished with 3 of them within a few feet of each other this morning. No problems. Same thing only one person in the group has to play with the IR. I've been in a group with 4 running and it was fine.
