powerbait honey worms ?

I was wondering if anyone has used these under the ice ? I was  going to try them for brook trout , crappie and perch . any replies appreciated !

I've used them before.  As long as the fish are looking for a bigger meal, they work.  However in many cases, it seems the fish usually want a smaller profile.  I've had to cut them half in the long way before and that seemed to up the productivity of it.  However, not easy to cut them nice and clean, unless done with those crafting razor blades.  I think for the most part, they don't represent a natural forage in the winter.

I always start out with honey worms when going for perch, both on my jigging rod and my deadstick. As soon as I get one I have it sign a donor card, and then I fish with perch eyes on both rigs for the rest of the day.
Any day on the ice with little to no wind, is a darn good day.

Yes, I use them regularly for trout and panfish. I never use the entire worm though, I'll pinch it in half or even into thirds.

I use them on the hooks on my big spoons.
