flasher issues

My Fl-8 is not working correctly all it get on it is the colors going in circles but it is the full circle not like when you are jigging and can see the depth. Anyone know what it might be

My flasher was acting up end of last season, replaced battery this year and all is good. (same deal with lights-circles).
