Snow coming and cold weather. Should be on ice fairly soon on small waters

They look pretty neat. I just got a good ol kinda cheap Berkeley scale. It's within an ounce so good enough for me !

Snow is coming down good right now in etown. Took a trip around earlier. Smaller ponds were freezing over. Soon boys...soon!

On a side note...got my custom jigs n spins order in the mail. Merry Christmas to me! These pro series paint jobs are fantastic. I'm you're curious about a color, ask. I think I have them all in one size or another. Actual colors vary a bit from those on the site. The site pics are a bit lacking in detail

That's good enough! I didn't need anything this extravagant, but my wife got it for me. It stores everything in a cloud and I can log info on every fish. Should help patterns present themselves.

Thinking about trying Connery Pond soon (jan10-13) Or at least checking the ice. I think the temps should lock it up if it'll be as cold as projected. Just want to get out and try some new gear/techniques. Let me know if any of you are up for an adventure

Had a guest hike out to connery yesterday and it was all open. Colby as well. Only very few small ponds have skim ice as of two days ago. I wouldn't plan any treck out this way in search of ice on connery. We may luck out and find something somewhere the weekend of the 10th but a lot of them are still open. Its been rather windy so its taking its sweet ass time starting a layer of ice.

Looks like fishing tomorrow. My buddies fished today. Few small slimers and a small eye. I found 2.5 to 3 in a couple places. 90% still unsafe. Will be toast after this weekend.

That's awesome. I won't see light of day outside the mill until this weekend. And the weekend is shot for me also. Maybe I'll catch the next freeze lol.

Ice is decent now on small bodies, but I STRONGLY suggest everyone be very careful after this weekend. 40's and rain and then it'll dropp back down. I'll be going out Monday and tuesday. Will post what I find
