Nice eye, what time did you catch it at and which night?  Just curious I plot weather and fish catching.

Question for you thousand island guys. I've been making the trip for the last 4 year to Wellesley island state park and staying at the cabins with my sons and my father. Fishing on eel has been slow the last 2. Not looking for huge fish, just enough action on the tip ups to keep the kids entertained. Was gonna skip it and try something different this year but they really wanted to go still and stay in the cabin.  We tried LOTI one day last year and that wasn't any better.

Question is....where else nearby could we try to fish if eel is slow? Have been to Clayton every summer for 15 years but don't know what is accessible on the river in the winter. No machine either.
What about the bay in front of Pier 65 marina? Is that accessible and worth the time to try?? Any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

12-20ft. any color. Cadence is more important.
