Hey all I am looking for some information on Coles Creek. Shoot me a PM if you can give out any info at all. Never been there before, only driven down 37 to see people fishing last week and thought I should try it there.

We pulled a 30 " through last night, quick photo and down she went.

My biggest Walleye is 12.4lbs, never have seen one bigger, a 34" waldo is a VERY VERY Impressive fish.  I have said for years that the St. Lawrence River has the next New York State Walleye record fish in it.

I have pictures of it but I won't post because it is not mine and I don't have consent. I firmly believe the next record walleye will be in the fleuve saint laurent

Good chance the next record walleye will come from the st lawrence although lake ontario has a good chance as well.....

First issues ive had with my jiffy propane this morning.. it was right around 20 below zero.. propane line was frozen stiff, and the fitting on the carb side of the regulator was leaking propane. Still ran and cut. Little too cold for it this morning..

That sucks. Only problem with these cold days, everything is very brittle.

Hope you find a cure - I'm surprised, that at -20, the gas in that little bottle would even vaporize enough to run the engine. -20 - you are definitely hardcore.  @)  Falling pressure today, little wind - might be an awesome day on the ice.

Had the same problem with my Jiffy propane last year on a very frigid morning. Cant blame it though, it was freaking cold. Anyone on here having any luck at Coles Creek?

Any of you folks know how to get a topo/contour map (or maps) of this stretch of the St. Lawrence? I've looked high and low and I just can't find anything that covers the area of....say....Ogdensbur g to Massena. I'm looking to get up there for the first time next month for some night time walleye and this would be a big help for a self-starter. I'm definitely not looking for anyone to put me on their spots, but a good contour map would help me to start my own learning. PM anyone?

Thanks

Bob

Try navionics web site. Click the webapp icon and zoom around. Click on the sonar icon in the bottom left to see the smaller contours.

12" in the bays, 8 out on the main lake. Ice production is at a standstiil. We have at least 8" of snow on top with some slush pockets.  Drill a hole and the water comes up through.  Needs a thaw or to get slushed out.
