Hey just curious about what is legal for ice fishing and whats illegal. Are you allowed to use eyes and strips from the belly or is it illegal in saskatchewan? Also i have heard about people catching suckers during the summer and freezing them for pike bait is that legal? thanks good luck

What is the maximum legal size of a fishing hole, back in the day I recall people using chainsaws at Wilson Lake near Yorkton so they could see the rainbows better in a hole 2 feet X 4 feet.  I thought the max size was around 12 inches in diameter but can't find it in the regs.

As far as i understand any size hole is legal but once you cut it you are responsible for it. when finished you must secure it in a means so no one can fall through and mark it so they know its there
