A few lads on Lincoln woods this morning tried to get out and do some jiggin around 3 pm and couldn't get on...edges were junk. More rain on Tuesday that's great news...if your a duck. This weather sucks! Next week hopefully...looks like it's gonna get cold again.

Lake X

produced about 30 bass today ,biggest was 3.14 several in the 3's ...If you want to fish on the ice you have to get off the computer and do some searching . still ice out there to be fished

from Saturday on it going to be in the 30s or lower for next 7 days. couple nights it going to be in single digits .

Checked out quite a few places this morning. Was pleasantly surprised for the most part. Both Wakefield and wilsons held ice pretty well. Edges were junk but a couple cold nights and we should be back in business. With a plank wilsons would probably be ok. Stump just ad a few open spots but should harden up quick after the weekend.

Thanks for all the reports guys. Some people get all uppity if you dare ask, like your too lazy to go out yourself but at least in my case I can't always get around to check ice because of work. Hell I'll put almost anything I know out there for everyone's benefit, it's a short season and a really just a bunch of regulars around here that hit the ice so ya I'll share when I can and run with the pack when I can. Put it this way, if you were fishing whether ice or open water and killing them and some kid asked you what you're using what would you do? Be a douche or help him out? Me I'd give him my last secret fly or lure and hope that the fever hits him. Just me but I'm guessing that I'm not the only one on this site like that... Great bunch here!
