I just pulled my traps...  one with smallies, one with absolutely nothing, and another loaded with 3-5 inch mummies....  probably 30+ in 3 hours.

Nice haul of mummies! Did you find them in shallow back creeks or are they still in the bigger estuaries? I have a honey hole, but it's a haul and I'm not sure it's worth the gas to make the drive if they haven't moved into the marsh creeks yet...

Very small pond near my house.  I've trapped pinheads and crayfish there before, but never mummies.  Maybe the mummies like Italian bread? :)

I haven't been able to find any for a few days now. All this rain has raised the water levels in the CT River and it's tributaries by almost 10 feet  :o It's dropping nicely though, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see what happens.

Same here. They are releasing water the lake for the winter drawdown, so the creek I live on has become a river. Pulled my traps b4 they were lost. Even the pond I am trapping has raised 3-4 ft and trapping has died out there too.

Lose the bread and use drydawg food instead with a can of cat food with 1 hole in it.

Went out and did alittle more prospecting today. Found a few nice ones in a little pond in CT. It's going to be hard to fill the tank at this rate but what else do I have to do on such a nice day?   ;D ;D ;D

Things are picking up here in CT. They are getting thicker, I am seeing some pretty big schools over the last couple of days. I think some colder weather would really help us out.

I got them now! They are too big for traps but i was on chub suckers today on flies and worms. Got about a dozen and a half in twenty mins. My grandfather got one almost a pound.

I got them in the tank but the cant stay. They jump out! I had one on the floor today. Hit the cover to knock it off then jumped out, they are crazy. i made a heavier cover so it is going to be more difficult now.
