What is that insulation you guys use for hubs?

I tried the search function, but  suck. I have an eskimo hub that is not insulated. I remembered reading last year that some people had some type of light weight cut to fit insulation that you were using to make it warmer. Any help?

I’ve heard of people using reflectix.  I’ve also heard that just by putting a tarp over the hub it helps too.

If you're willing to bring it, it will help.  It's amazing what an extra layer of insulation will do.  Even a few sheets of windshield visor sun block will do wonders.

I use reflectix. The first time I used it I had enough pieces to cover the entire thing. Just tucked it behind the ribs on the hub. Bringing all of it was a bit bulky and sort of a hassle. Now I only bring one 6ft piece and stuff in the corner that is getting hit directly by the wind. Just that one piece located there warms it up considerably.

Use a emergency tarp with silver lining for pop up. I did reflectix and hard to fold gun up

Get a king sized blanket throw it over the top and cover with a tarp lols. All the threamAL shacks are is blanket batting swen inbetween two layers of tent fabric.. so why not just use a blanket and a tarp to cover it? After its set up.. then just remove it for take down..
