Good question. Another deal, maybe: I did pick up one of the $35 carhartt sweatshirts (down from $55), that are part of the ‘truckload sale’ this weekend. Glad I bugged out of work a little early, as the pickings were very slim on those at 4pm today.

Fleet is known for not having or having a very limited supply of sale items. If you complain they sometimes will give you a rain check at the sale price.

Not true; several colors of Rippin Rap are backordered and will come back into stock. Generally their website will say sold out if they are not going to get any more stock this season.

A couple of years ago I was shopping Fleet Farm for tip downs. They were out and the mfger told me FF buys one-time in the Autumn and don't restock. They don't want unsold ice fishing gear in the Spring.
