I ordered some headwater bibs and jacket from the institute.  They were out of XL so I had to have them shipped.  The jacket is great, but the bibs had 2 tears in them.  I thought maybe I could sew them, but why would I compromise on new bibs?  I am thinking they were the showroom pair is why they had some stitching coming loose.  I sent mine back to Striker and am supposed to be getting a new pair.  Hearing about this, I am worried I will not get a pair.  Fingers crossed.

Good Luck! I had a similar issue 3-4 years ago with a new set of climate bibs I had bought. Was going to the st. paul ice show so took them along to return without paying any shipping. When I showed the OWNER of striker the bibs and the failing stitching, he just looked at me and asked me if I know how to sew, and that they weren't going to do anything about it. I was friendly and professional not confrontational and this is the answer I received. I wish you luck......**** Striker!

I had the stitching come out of my arm on my jacket sent it in, they sent me a brand new jacket i had used it for 2 months it took a while just keep in contact with them when they tell you when to expect it and if its not there then email again if necessary

Well whatever issues Dicks had with Striker must have been resolved.  My striker bibs were cancelled from cyber monday deal. They were on Dicks website at full price yesterday.  Re-ordered with the 30% off I got from b***hing and got my shipping notice today.  Guess there were no inventory issues with Dicks.    Fishusa did say they have backorders from MFG with no ETA.  Sounds like a Dicks/Striker feud was brewing.

Exactly what happened to me. My order was cancelled on Thursday afternoon and I called that night for my 30%.  On Friday afternoon the bibs were back on the website and I placed the order. It shipped Saturday morning.  Funny how that works.

Jeez, glad I didn't purchase the striker predator bibs online on black friday.  I had the problem with Gander last year, and another issue trying to get the bibs would have put me over the edge.  I was lucky enough to walk into my local Dicks and purchase the predator bibs in store with a 20% off coupon i received in the mail.

L and M has the big buddy on sale for 99 dollars, site said it qualifies for free shipping on it as well.  I think this is a decent price, dont recall ever seeing them lower than that.
