I have heard the ice is safe but any reports would be great .

You, me and a hundred of our closet freinds! There is probably going to be a good crowd, I'm taking my son as well as my daughter for some good action and to make sure everything is working for the season. With the little guys there I'll have a hut up. You won't miss me, I have a big red eskimo 3, and I also fish in a bright limegreen 70's style snowmobile coat I've had for a long time! was up there today did well.  wife and i caught 40 fish in about five hours.  Lots of little kokani and a few rainbows also one brookie.  fish were in 5-9ft of water.  Cove had 3-4 in of good ice on it.

Due to scheduling conflicts with my buddy we are switching to Thursday. We'll do a pre-gorging kokanee run. I'll let you guys know how we do.
