Trent to put your mind at ease I did some math for you lol. If you weighed your 25lb dumbbells' at home at 24.81 and 24.89 assuming that they are actually 25 pounds each.
24.81+24.89=49.70lbs
50.00-49.70=0.30lbs
0.30/50=.006 error in your scale
1+0.006 = 1.006 correction factor
39.80lbs * 1.006 = 40.04lbs
