It's not going to be pretty when this band slides down.
Give a man a fish he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish he can eat for a lifetime.... take your kid fishing and never stop smiling.

looks windy right up until midnight so hopefully it really pushes it to small chunks so it can freeze as a patchwork sheet instead of the big chunks under each other. Time will tell and we get what we get.

Keep your band up north!! We don’t want your stinkin snow down here lol. East shore bait shop closed couple years back. New sign at shop says dons bait or somthing like that. Iv never seen it open though. If I need bait that way I go to lakeshore outfitters right off Lewis point rd or bucks and bolts off 49

Ditto on Lakeside Outfitters. They are good with info and lots of tackle.Ive had them custom make harnesses for me on the spot.As well as add hooks to a couple of mine that had broken off.Tried to no charge me for adding the hooks. But I wasn’t having it.Bait shops are a must and I’ve seen too many go under. So I am more then happy supporting them any chance I get to keep them open.

Double ditto on Lakeside Outfitters!
Good bait, good info, nice selection of tackle.
So glad to have them near by.
The tug is the drug.

Forgot to mention that it just started snowing on south shore, mid-lake.
Not coming down too hard (for now).
The tug is the drug.

Web cams make it look like it froze again last night.  Long range forecasts look good too.

It’s locked on the east end. Not too much snow here but the whole lake has a light covering.

What a beautiful sight to wake up to.

Remember just cause someone is out there doesn’t make it safe for everybody , I got it places to fish , I’ll give it a few more days
I was told 2.5 ? but that means there will be thinner spots if that was true , there are very few guys that I believe , and I fish with 4 of them 5th 1 is my spud 👍
