Ive got the 8” version and i really like it. Going on 2 years. Had a kdrill for a few seasons and it was a great auger as well but i prefer the lite flite to the kdrill.

Used a buddies.

Nice áuger.....really no lighter then the 6in lazer hand áuger. The Lazer style blades really don't "need" a guide point for starting them since the blades are aggressive and cut in right away.

If you like the synthetic and all nice setup.

If your looking at it money wise.....a used $20 hand lazer áuger with a NDA 2 adaptor and drill flage plate off FB market place or Craigslist is pretty comparable.

If it's something you want go for it you won't be disapointed.

I would consider the 6" lazer as well. I've been running years on the same blades. I pair that with the Kovak ice master adapter and drill. One thing to note, the Kovak ice master adapter works on the lazer and blue mora. The inside of adapter is threaded, which threads on to the old school moras. Good cheap way to get into an electric auger at a low cost.
