You know how many uses an empty plastic drink bottle can be used for?
Like the time when we/I forgot an ice skimmer. Silly guys were gonna use their hands. I say, nope we just need to drink our pop. Cut open side onto bottle. Poke several holes onto other side of plastic bottle and you got yourself a makeshift ice skimmer. I need a minnow scoop...got a plastic bottle?
Plastic bottles can be re-purposed for many uses.

Oh the days of fishing with plastic bottles...I mean rocks in bottle rattle reels and super bobbers. Colored bottles are great ice hole freeze prevention. And if you're lazy and leave bail open on reel...take some line and loop around a bottle, when fish takes. bottle jumps....perfect strike indicator.
Don't even get me started with clothes pins and lego blocks...LOL. The days of childhood inventions.
