Looks allot like what I fish. I just use a longer leader due to the clear water. I go with 6 to 8 ft. of mono.

The invisa leaders by south bend are the way to go.  Pike won't cut them and walleye can't see them.
I used mono once and lost a really nice pike.  Never again will I do that.

Unless you don't mind getting cut off by pike while trying for walleye.  But I've caught plenty of eyes with the invisa leader.

Bad quality on the video. Pretty basic and standard tipup rigging. Nothing new or different. Search here for tip up rigging or for quick strike rigs and you might see something new.

To comment on the circle hook question. I've seen more and more guys going to this because they can be very effective and will almost 100% give you a perfect hook set in the corner of their mouth. The biggest thing to remember with these, is you can't set the hook. Just a nice steady pull of the line. It's pretty funny to see guys do the lawnmower pull and then remember their tip-up had a circle hook on it. Give them a try, see how you like them. I've used them for 2years now and I like them alot.
